Do I need a Yepp adapter for my Xtracycle?

RFA Sport and Utility Rear Rack - NO, with the Yepp Nexxt Maxi
If you have an RFA Sport or Utility, you DO need a Xtracycle Yepp Adapter for your rear rack. The RFA Sport and Utility rack are built to be compatible with the Yepp Nexxt Maxi with no need for an additional adapter. The Yepp Maxi is not compatible with this deck.

LT2 FlightDeck - YES, you need an adapter

If you have an LT2 FlightDeck, you DO need a front or rear Xtracycle Yepp Adapter. This is the deck that can be found on our newer models, including the Swoop, Classic, Stoker and Leap. This deck is about 1/4" thick. Yepp installation instructions for this deck can be found here (rear position) and here (front position)

LT1 version 2 FlightDeck - NO, you do not need an adapter

No additional Yepp Adapters are needed as this was the only deck that did not require one. You will just want to make sure your deck is secure to the V-racks with 8 Superhooks. This deck is about 1/2" thick. Yepp installation instructions for this deck can be found here.

Snap Deck - A Yepp seat cannot be install on this deck.

If you have a SnapDeck, you cannot safely install a Yepp seat on this deck and no adapter will make it compatible so you will need to replace it with an LT1 v.2 FlightDeck and 8 Superhooks.

LT1 version 1 FlightDeck - A Yepp seat cannot be install on this deck.

If you have an LT1 version 1 FlightDeck, the necessary adapter to install a Yepp on this deck is no longer available so you will need to replace it with an LT1 v.2 FlightDeck and 8 Superhooks.
